Re: “Challenges, conflict and change”, by David G Penington, in the 5/19 December issue of the Journal (Med J Aust 2005; 183: 585-589). On page 587, the article states that Australia became the first country in the world to test every single blood donation for HIV in May 1995. This should have read May 1985.
