stage fright was it?
called again into
endless darkness
despite my protest
in light in the ambulance
hospital rules take over
mammogram for a seizure?
needless tests
excessive drugs
resolved to check myself out
I fall in unknown ways
the darkness is on my face
eyes black and blue
my brain bleeds
more and more tests
for weeks my coccyx screams
with each cough
my muscles shred pain
how is it possible
in a place of healing
to injure yourself so much?
I leave my brain on a CD
