Re the article “Are current playground safety standards adequate for preventing arm fractures?”, by Sherker S and Ozanne-Smith J, in the 7 June 2004 issue of the Journal (Med J Aust 2004; 180: 562-565). In Box 2, the slope of the head injury trend was reported as “0.030”. The correct slope should be “–0.030”.
