Re “Multicentre research: negotiating the ethics approval obstacle course” a letter to the editor by Lynne M Roberts, Lucy Bowyer, Caroline S Homer and Mark A Brown in the 2 February issue of the Journal (Med J Aust 2004; 180: 139). There was an error in the Box summarising the requirements for gaining ethics approval.
