Professor David A Ellwood

David Ellwood is Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Deputy Head of School (Research) at the School of Medicine, Griffith University, Queensland. He is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine sub-specialist and Director of MFM at the new Gold Coast University Hospital, Queensland. He has research interests in adverse outcomes of pregnancy, including stillbirth, and is the Co-Director of the new Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth based at the Mater Research Institute in Brisbane. He is also Deputy-President of the Australian Medical Council and has a long-standing interest in the accreditation of medical training programmes..
