Professor Charles Guest has appointments in population health at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. Prior appointments include Chief Health Officer in the Australian Capital Territory, and subsequently, Victoria. He co-edited the Oxford Handbook of Public Health Practice (three editions), and was President of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine.
