The MJA Award for Excellence in Medical Research

The MJA Award for Excellence in Medical Research (previously the MJA/MDA National 2012-2020, MJA/Pfizer Australia Research Award 2010-2011 and the MJA/Wyeth Award 1995-2009) has honoured the author(s) of the best original clinical research article published in the MJA in each calendar year up until 2023.

Closing date: 31 December of 2022. 

The award: Presented at the Australian Medical Association National Conference. 

How to enter: All clinical research articles published in the MJA are automatically considered for this award. Just submit your clinical research article to the MJA via ScholarOne (see MJA instructions to authors).

Judging process: Articles were short-listed by MJA editorial staff and final judging is done by a panel of Australia's best clinical researchers.
