The MJA, MDA National Prize for Excellence in Medical Research
The MJA, MDA National Prize for Excellence in Medical Research (previously the MJA/Pfizer Australia Research Award 2010-2011 and the MJA/Wyeth Award 1995-2009) honours the author(s) of the best original clinical research article published in the MJA in each calendar year.
Closing date: 31 December each year
The prize: $10 000, awarded at the Australian Medical Association National Conference the following May
How to enter: All clinical research articles published in the MJA are automatically considered for this prize. Just submit your clinical research article to the MJA via ScholarOne (see MJA instructions to authors).
Judging process: Articles are short-listed by MJA editorial staff and final judging is done by a panel of Australia's best clinical researchers.
