Symptoms of somatisation disorder

In DSM-IV, the diagnosis requires complaints of at least 14 symptoms (for women) and 12 symptoms (for men) from the 37 listed below:
Abdominal painPain in extremities
Joint painPainful menstruation
Chest painPain in genital area
Pain on urinationBack pain
NauseaOther pain (not headaches)
Vomiting spellsSevere vomiting throughout pregnancy or causing hospitalisation during pregnancy
Diarrhoea Bloating ("gassy")
Difficulty swallowingIntolerance of a variety of foods
Shortness of breathUrinary retention or difficulty urinating
Loss of voiceTrouble walking
BlindnessParalysis
Double visionDeafness
Blurred visionDizziness
Memory lossMuscle weakness
Loss of consciousness or faintingPalpitations
Seizures or convulsionsSexual indifference
Menstrual irregularityBelief that he/she has been sickly for a good part of life
Excessive menstrual bleedingLack of pleasure during intercourse
Pain during intercourse
