"Carotid stenting or endarterectomy for stroke prevention?"

Hender KM, Anderson JN and Chong W

MJA 2001; 175: 672

Re "Carotid stenting or endarterectomy for stroke prevention?", by Hender KM, Anderson JN and Chong W, in the 15 October 2001 issue of the Journal (Med J Aust 2001; 175: 430-431). On page 430, in the Box, for the study by Golledge et al, the contents of columns 5 and 6 should be reversed (ie, the figures under "Carotid endarterectomy" should read 1.2%, 3.3%, 1.6%, and the figures under "Carotid stenting" should read 0.8%, 7.1%, 3.2%, respectively).
