The Medical Journal of Australia (MJA) is Australia's leading peer-reviewed journal of medical practice and clinical research. The MJA is published by the Australasian Medical Publishing Company (AMPCo) for the Australian Medical Association. The print edition appears on the first and third Monday of each month, except that the December issues are combined into one large special issue.
The full text of every issue since January 2002 is available on the web. Only a selection of articles from 1996 to 2001 is on the web. Articles that are not on the web can be ordered for document delivery by fax or post (charges apply).
