CM Health began placing Civilian Health Practitioners (CHPs) with the Department of Defence in 2003. Over the ensuing years, we have grown nationally to become the largest supplier of CHPs to the Department of Defence. CM Health currently supplies and manages over 500 health professionals, nationally, across all specialities (Medical, Nursing, Dental, Allied Health). This accounts for more than half of the entire Defence CHP workforce.

AMA Recruit, a division of AMA (WA), provides an Australia wide recruitment and placement service to doctors seeking employment as General Practitioners, Public or Private Specialists.

For doctors trained overseas services include: registration, visa, sponsorship, placement, employment contracts and orientation on arrival in Australia. For locally trained graduates a range of short and long term placement options are available in both the public and private sector throughout Australia. Options are discussed, contracts negotiated and agreements organized.
