Incorrect author affiliation: In the letter “Avoiding the tragedy of another balcony collapse” in the 1 June 2009 issue of the Journal (Med J Aust 2009; 190: 651-652), James W Nixon was incorrectly described as a paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane. James W Nixon is Chair of Kidsafe Queensland, Brisbane, QLD.

The html and pdf versions of the article published online were corrected on 5 June 2009.
